peace

You may have seen this card this morning over on Nichole's blog.  I created this card for the Papertrey Ink release.  The patterned paper is stamped using text print from Background Basics: Christmas and snowflakes from Peace Be Still.  The sentiment and dove are from Peace Be Still and the frame is from Fillable Frames #8.  After diecutting the dove, Iran it through my xyron and covered it with glitter.

Sorry, this is short and sweet.  I feel worse today than yesterday.  Darn cold.  My husband asked me this morning on the phone what my plans were for today and I told him my only plans were taking a nap! lol  Hope you are having a great week with no icky bugs! *wink*

Niki

I love the soft colors and simple design on this card. It makes me feel peaceful even with 3 young boys jumping around and yelling like all boys do. :)

Sorry you're not feeling well Niki :( I love this card, it's one of my favorites that Nichole showcased this morning! Love the text background with the snowflakes stamped over, and the glittered dove is really GORGEOUS!

Beautiful card! You always amaze me with your "patterned paper"....I always think it actually is store bought paper!!
It's always tough to be sick when you have little ones....I remember being so sick when Michael was a toddler & I could barely get off the couch. I wish I could be there to help you....hope you're feeling better!!

This design is another of yours that amazes me. It is pure and uncomplicated and instills a quiet peace. Something else that I thought was neat was the way you combined the "Santa" verse (Twas the Night ...) with the Christian symbol of peace, the dove. Very nice. :)
