Key to My Heart

Most of you don't know this, but I am a Close to My Heart consultant.  I was a consultant in the past and recently rejoined.  They have some super cute stuff for scrapbooking.  I don't do parties or sell the product locally.  I'm just a hobby demo.  Why am I telling you this?!  Because I have to share the Key to My Heart special that is going on until the end of the month.  The stamp set and papers in this set are just beautiful!

I used my cardstocks and the stamp set from the kit to create this card.  Isn't that corner flourish beautiful?!  And that sentiment and heart?!  Seriously, I love this kit and plan to use the stamp set a lot in my scrapbooking.  It also has a beautiful journaling stamp among other things.  I have some extra kits and plan to use them to create my mother's day gifts this year.

Okay, on to the details.  I stamped the flourish on the colonial white cardstock and then stitched it to my tulip layer using pink thread before adding it to my juniper card base.  I added some flowers and rhinestones to the flourish.

I stamped my sentiment in tulip ink on colonial white cardstock and added a heart using blush ink.  I added my mat and stitching again.  I added some lace and punched cardstock below my sentiment mat.  I used foam adhesive to add my sentiment to my card.  Then, I stamped the key on shrink plastic using staz on ink.  I used my heat gun to shrink the key and it is the perfect embellishment for my card.  I tied a bow using some pink sheer ribbon and added my key, bow, and some buttons to my card to finish it off.

Have a great day!

Niki

Niki,
I ran across your blog last year and periodically check it out. Your cards are the best, you are so talented! I am a CTMH consultant as well and was not planning on getting this kit. However after seeing your beautiful card, I have changed my mind!
