Wild Thing . . . You Make My Heart Sing!

Evening, Girlies!  I got a chance to make a card for this week's SCS sketch challenge.  Sketch challenges are my favorite.  There's just less planning involved.

I wanted to use a couple more cute dragon stamps from High Hopes.  I decided to make a valentine card using my My Mind's Eye Irresistible papers and chose Abigail and Albert's Gift as the perfect stamps for my theme.  I chose some copic markers (the blue is not quite so bright in person) that coordinate with my patterned paper and stamped and colored my images first.  Then, I added my mats and some stitching.  I distressed the edges of the cardstock using an edge distressor.  Then, I added my sentiment and some felt heats and buttons.  Last, I added some glossy accents and red glitter to the flower centers.

I have to share some close up photos just because Abigail and Albert are so cute.  Who knew dragons could be so cute?!

Here you can see the glitter on the flower centers and the layered felt hearts and button.

I think Abigail's heart is singing when cute little Albert shows up with the flowers. *wink*

Tomorrow, I am helping out with my son's preschool class.  My daughter is very excited because that means she gets to go, too.

Have a great Thursday!

Niki
