A quick post from me tonight. You may have seen this card on Nichole's blog today. I created it using the new Turning a New Leaf stamp set. You all know I love making my own patterned papers. This set is just perfect for that. I cut a piece of vintage cream cardstock and randomly stamped one of the leaf images. Then, I added some pink flowers (from Beautiful Blooms stamp set) and sponged antique linen and tea dye distress inks (from Ranger) around the edges. I distressed the edges and sewed around each side. Then, I stamped the sentiment (from Spiral Bouquet) on vintage cream cardstock I had cut into an oval using a nestability die. I sponged the edges with ink, distressed the edge and added some stitching and a sweet blush mat. I added a little ribbon, some pearl brads, and assembled my card.
Have a great night!
