welcome, little one
I just love the new Baby Button Bits set from Papertrey Ink. I had to pull it out again after the release when the idea for this card came to me. I used the cute little bee image and the welcome little one sentiment. I colored the one with a couple different yellow copic markers and sponged the edge of the kraft cardstock with fresh snow ink. I cut my card base, stitched the white border, and stamped the polka dots across the bottom with fresh snow ink. I added some glitter to the bee's wings and the stripes to its body using a black copic marker after stitching it to my image panel with embroidery floss. The inside of the card is lined with some kraft cardstock (sponged fresh snow ink on the edges) and lemon tart cardstock so there is a place to stamp or write the sentiment. (I used a sentiment from Inside & Out: Baby, but I forgot to take a photo. Oops!)
Can you believe it is almost time for the Papertrey anniversary festivities to start?! Lots of exciting things coming up! I am excited to get to share some of the projects I've been working on! Thanks for the comments on my new profile photo, too! You all are so sweet!
Have a great day!
