thanks for all you do

Hi Everyone!  I thought I would share a new card today.  I have a bunch of cards saved up in my draft posts that I haven't had a chance to share yet so it works out well when I haven't created anything new over the last week (naturally *wink*).  I have to say this is one of my favorite cards I have created in a while.  I love the adorable little Rabbit in Watercan image from Stampavie.  I am playing along with the current Stampavie challenge which is to include dots in your project.  Lots of dots in the new October Afternoon Fly a Kite patterned papers.

I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out with a nestability die.  While the image was still in the die, I sponged some ink around the edges.  Then, I stitched it to my berry sorbet cardstock.

We are off this afternoon to visit a little with my family and have a barbecue.  Baby is doing wonderful.  Well, I think I hear him waking up so I am off.

Have a great July 4th if you're in the US and a wonderful day if you're not!

Niki

Recipe
Stamps: Rabbit in Watercan (Stampavie), Thankful Hearts (Verve)
Cardstock: white, kraft, berry sorbet (Papertrey Ink)
Patterned Paper: Fly a Kite (October Afternoon)
Accents: buttons
Tools: copic markers, sponge, rectangle nestability die, sewing machine, border punch

I'm so happy that you have saved some unposted images so that we don't suffer with "Niki withdrawal" too much! Hope things are going well for you and your family! Happy July 4th! (I'm in Canada so we had our celebration a few days ago).
