Year of Flowers: Larkspurs
Quick post before the little one wakes back up. I created this card for the Papertrey Ink release using the new Year of Flowers: Larkspurs stamp set. I think it is one of my favorites that I created for the release. Everything just came together well. I stamped the lavendar moon card base with the larkspurs using plum pudding ink and then stamped the text from Background Basics: Text Style using dark chocolate ink. I sponged the edges with the tea dye duo and dark chocolate ink.
Then, I stamped the larkspurs on white cardstock and colored them with copic markers. I sponged the edges and added a little distressing before stitching it to my plum pudding layer. I impressed the image with the linen impression plate and then tied a piece of plum pudding satin ribbon around the bottom and stitched a button in the center of the bow.
Okay, off I go. Hopefully, I'll have some time to pay some bills and start billing before he wakes up. Have a great day!
Niki
