just a note

It's time for another challenge over on the Stampavie blog.  The new challenge is a color challenge (kraft, yellow, and turquoise).  Each challenge lasts for two weeks so you have plenty of time to enter and there is always a prize given away randomly to one of the participants.  Come join us in the challenge for a chance to win.

I used the adorable Mouse with Sunflower image for my card along with some patterned papers from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop line.  I colored my image with copic markers like usual and added lots of stitching, some buttons, and some felt that I had die cut with a ric rac die.

It's kind of hard to tell in the photo, but I also added some glitter to the butterfly's wings and the bees' wings with a glitter pen.  Isn't that mouse so cute?!  I searched for a long time to find this cutie in stock back when it was released this spring.

Hop on over to the Stampavie design team blog to see the cards the rest of the design team created for the challenge.  Have a great week!

Niki

This is so sweet. I have to tell you that my daughter's favorite flower is a sunflower. I used this stamp to make her birthday card this year. It was one of my most favorite cards I have made for her. I did a bunch of paper piecing on it. I love your grass, so cool.

This is absolutely adorable! Love the detail on the side with the buttons & ric rac. Glad to hear your little guy is ok health wise as well. We've had some nursing issues the last few weeks and I know it can be stressful and scary to deal with.

I LOVE this card! SO cute! Very curious about the grass under the little mousey...was that part of the stamp? Or a patterned paper?
