morning glories
September brought the latest in the Year of Flowers stamp series from Papertrey Ink, Morning Glories. Instead of shading my flowers in the center, I wanted to create the more traditional look of morning glories that have a darker edge on the petals. I paired the image with some patterned papers from the Library Ledger collection and created a frame for my image using a scalloped circle nestability die and a regular circle nestability die. The copic markers I used to color this image were: YG13, YG17, YG67, B32, B34, B37, colorless blender.
This card is now up for sale over in my etsy store: Apple Blossom Paperie. Okay, I am off to fix some lunch for my little girl. Have a great day!
Niki

I love the way you have shaded the flowers - the darker outer rim really makes them look curled back, like they are in real live. I love it! The whole card is really lovely, and I love the combo of flowers and ledger paper!
