I combined the Free Spirit Boy set with the Free Spirit Sentiments, Teeny Trees, and Frame It stamp sets to create my card today. Free Spirit Boy is filled with great images that are perfect for masculine cards.
I created the background on my card using the circle background stamp and Tulip ink on kraft cardstock. Then, I created my focal image. I started by stamping the frame from Frame It with Archival Black ink on white cardstock.
I used some Eclipse masking tape to mask the rectangle along the edge of the frame. Then, I tore another piece of eclipse tape to create an uneven edge where I could sponge my grass. I sponged some Olive ink where there was no mask. I used a foam tool from CTMH (Close to My Heart). They are essentially really large sponge daubers with handles. I love the way they sponge!
After sponging the grass, I removed the mask from the rectangle (but left the masking around the edges). I stamped the trees from Teeny Trees using Desert Sand and Garden Green inks. Then, I stamped the skateboarder from Free Spirit Boy using Archival Black ink. I used my air compressor and a BG01 copic marker to spray the sky and then removed the masks. I stamped the sentiment from Free Spirit Sentiments using Archival Black ink. I added a blue cardstock border and a couple copper brads. I wrapped some Charcoal twine around the bottom of my card and added a wooden button. The wooden button and all the inks I used are from Close to My Heart.

CASE COMPETITION: Now it’s time for you to get your craftiness on as we invite you to participate in a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) competition. Find a card or project from any of the projects posted over the past few days by the WMS Design Team, CASE that project using Waltzingmouse Stamp images, and link it using the Inlinkz on Claire’s blog. At the end of the competition, one project will be randomly selected to be highlighted with a Parade of its own on several of the Design Team blogs.
