Hi Everyone! I have really exciting news today. I've been asked to join the Lili of the Valley Design Team!! You know how I love their cute images and great sentiments. I am so excited to get to work with them!
Lili of the Valley is releasing 16 new Girl images on June 14th. The design team has been sharing sneak peeks over on the LOTV's Ideas to Inspire blog so be sure to check out the rest of the sneak peeks. My card today features one of the new images releasing on June 14th. This is Milly - Flower Power.
Isn't she so cute with her large flower?! I love the little frame around the image. I colored the image with copic markers on copic x-press it cardstock and used some patterned paper from Echo Park's Springtime line. I used a sentiment from the Dreamy Days Sentiments set. I used a 1 3/4" circle punch to cut out the sentiment and a rectangle nestability die to cut out the image.
Sorry, I didn't write down the copic marker colors for this image. I was having a bugger of a time when I was coloring it! When I was almost all the way done coloring the image, my colorless blender "burped" a huge blob of blending solution right in the middle of my image! I had to spend some time fixing the image and scooped the markers up to put them away afterwards without writing the numbers down.
Anyway, I finished off my card with lots of stitching, some baker's twine, and a couple wooden buttons from Close to My Heart that are the perfect match for my kraft cardstock. I love those wooden buttons!
Okay, I am off to work on another sneak peek card. Have a great day!
