Waltzingmouse Stamps September Release Day 1

Welcome to Day One of the Waltzingmouse Stamps September release!  There are some really neat sets releasing this month and the design team can't wait to share some sneak peeks.  The four new sets will be available for purchase on Sept 19th.

Today, we are sharing sneak peeks of the new A Cottage Home stamp set.  Claire added so many intricate details to these houses!  They are just amazing!  I love that little walkway stamp that you can add in front of the houses.

I love the look of images stamped on kraft cardstock without any coloring.  (Of course, the houses would look amazing colored, too.)  I stamped the house on kraft cardstock with black ink from Close to My Heart.  I used some patterned papers from My Mind's Eye's Lost & Found Market Street line.  I added some stitching around the edges and finished off my card with some crocheted lace and some pearls from Close to My Heart.

Hop on around to see what the rest of the designer's created with this set:

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Niki

Hi Niki! I know it's been a while since I've visited. :) I love how you added the lace and paper choices here... so appropriate for a "home sweet home" card. :) I'm on my way to check out the others' blogs!

Love the idea of non-coloring as well...makes this a versatile stamp to dress it up or down!

Niki, I am so happy you are on the DT for WM. You were the very first DT member who ever commented on one of my cards (back in your PTI days) and I remember how thrilled I was. I am so glad you made a card without coloring. For those of us who are a bit copic challenged, this shows a wonderful example of using this stamp set without having to pull out our hair trying to color it. I love the image stamped on kraft and the patterned papers are so pretty with it.

Another beautiful card. That house is very intricate. I can imagine doing some paper piecing on it. I do love the kraft and black look too. Have a great weekend.

What a great idea to stamp the image on kraft papaer and then mount it on a colorful background- it really pops the image! I will have to try this myself- thanks for the idea.

I agree with the comment above. It couldn't be said any better. The way you created this card really makes the cottage just pop right out. All the details are beautiful!
