Have a goodie!

Thank you so much to everyone who tested my blog for me!!  I really appreciate all of your help.  I spent a while on the phone with my internet provider and the tech guy wasn't sure what the problem was at first, but wanted to talk to some of the other tech guys and call me back.  I got another phone call this evening and the tech guy was able to fix my connection with an update they had planned on installing in a couple weeks.  Funny that whatever they were working on was able to fix my problem and now I am able to load my blog again.  A huge thanks to all of you who tested it for me and for all of your suggestions for things that might help!  A special thanks to Erin, who went way above and beyond trying to help me trouble shoot!  I have the best blog readers! Hugs to you all!!

How about I finally get around to posting a card tonight before the night is over.  I created this card using Background Basics: Spots & Dots.  There are so many possibilities for backgrounds using this set!  I kept my card really simple and I love how it turned out.

I cut my card base from kraft cardstock (4.25x5.5).  I rounded the corners with a corner rounder and then stamped my pattern using vintage cream ink.  I heat set it a little to speed up the drying time.  This ink dries pretty quickly, but I am often impatient and just heat set it so I can keep creating.  Then, I added the pure poppy centers and sponged the edges with dark chocolate ink.  I cut a small strip of pure poppy cardstock and wrapped a piece of vintage cream stitched ribbon around it.  I added a crocheted flower and brad before adhering the piece to my card.  Last, I stamped a sentiment from Handwritten Notes along the bottom.

Hope you all have a goodie!! *wink*

Niki
