I had the opportunity to play along with the Wags 'n Whiskers design team this month to celebrate the the new "Let's Play" sports release. The new images are so cute! If you've been hoping around, you should have come from Nikki's blog. If you're just starting the blog hop, head over to the Wags 'n Whiskers blog to start at the beginning. Be sure to comment along the way because there will be four random blogs giving away blog candy. You'll have four chances to win 2 stamps of your choice from the new release, but you won't know which blogs are giving away the candy so be sure to leave lots of comments. The new stamps will be available at 7 am EST (information on where to purchase them here).
When I was deciding which of the new release images to use for the blog hop, I had to use this adorable Let's Go Team image. Isn't she a cutie?! I paired her with some Urban Prairie patterned papers, kraft cardstock, and hawaiian shores cardstock. I colored her with copic markers that coordinate with my patterned papers and then cut her out. I sponged the edges of my patterned papers with tea dye ink before stitching them to their mat layers. I tied a piece of hawaiian shores satin ribbon around my pink patterned paper, stitched a button in the center, and adhered it to my card. Then, I cut a scalloped circle from kraft cardstock, stamped my sentiment, added some pink brads, and adhered it to my card. Last, I adhered my cheerleader to my kraft circle using foam adhesive and added some stickles to her pom poms for some sparkle.
