When I was playing with Wonderfully Whimsical and Background Basics: Botanicals last month for the release, I created this fun birthday card. I love the little balloon coming out of the chimney! I created the scene for my card and then colored the images with copic markers. Then, I stamped my kraft cardstock using the background image from BB: Botanicals and dark chocolate ink. I added the little flowers in the centers using hawaiian shores ink and the little flower stamp from BB: Botanicals. I finished the card off with some scallops cut from dark chocolate cardstock, some hawaiian shores stitched ribbon, and a coconut button.
My husband will be home in a little while for the weekend. The kids are excited to decorate the Easter eggs tomorrow and to see what the Easter Bunny brings on Sunday.
Have a great Easter weekend!!
