Every two weeks, the Stampavie design team has a challenge over on the Stampavie blog. There is always a prize given away randomly to one of the participants in the challenge so hop on over to the blog and join us in the challenge for a chance to win some goodies!
This week's challenge is Hot/Summer themed cards or other projects. I thought this adorable Mouse in Hammock image from Tina Wenke was perfect for this theme. I colored my image with copic markers that coordinate with the patterned papers I chose from October Afternoon's Cherry Hill patterned paper collection. I added lots of stitching, some baker's twine, and some flowers with a button in the center.
What a perfect theme for the hot weather we've been having this weekend. The weather was perfect on Saturday, but a little hot on Sunday so we came home a little earlier than usual as it was getting to hot for the baby. We all had lots of fun, though, and it was nice to get away.
Be sure to check out the design team blog for more cards from the design team for more inspiration and come join us in the challenge!
